Page 3 Plot

I used to be in a band called "Lost Dog." You may have seen our poster?
Humans are problems solvers, who are compelled to deduce or deduct, without being given all the information.

The absence of information draws us in to the story.

Any story has ...

  1.   interesting characters who must have a motivation, or reason to act.
Example
A concerned pet owner who loves his or her cute puppy...

  1.   a problem or obstacle that stands in the main character's way.
Example
... must find the lost dog.

Therefore, a story evolves from two elements:

A) an interesting character with a motivation, and

B) a problem

Combining these two elements creates plot.
