“A Hero’s Welcome” is based on reality, both World War II and the idea that one is a hero who gives one’s life for another person.  Canadians celebrate heroes every Remembrance Day, November 11.

Generation Smartphone


Technology enables us to enjoy many benefits such as better communication, more easily accessible entertainment, and less manual labour.

For some, giving a mobile phone to a child is a real milestone - the child is growing up.

Some teens cannot imagine living life without technology. But can the smart phone, tablet, or Internet be misused or dangerous?

Society might not discover the negative effects of a smart phone, tablet, or Internet for many years to come.
