Unit 2  Individualism, Collectivism, and the Common Good


 The T-shirt on the left has the following symbols:

  • the colour red

  • a star, hammer, and sickle

These were all symbols of the former Soviet Union (now Russia), which was a collectivist state.


The tie-dye T-shirt on the right illustrates an individualist perspective.
