Midpoint Interview Call


You must phone your teacher and do this Midpoint Interview before you get the password for Unit 4 Review Exam.


Congratulations! You have now completed Units 1–4 and are halfway through the course! Soon, you will write your Midterm Exam.

Once you have completed all of the assignments for the unit, and those assignments have been marked, you will prepare your thoughts to the question on this page and then phone your lead teacher to complete the Unit 4 Exit Interview: Self-Reflection Task.

For this assignment, you will reflect on what you have learned and share some of your experiences in the course. This will also serve as feedback and questioning for the exam preparation.It should take no longer than 10 minutes to quickly chat with your teacher and earn a completion requirement of the course!

NOTE: You must earn credit for this assignment in order to get the password to write your Unit 4 Review Exam. Take a moment to consider what questions you have for your teacher and make point-form notes in response to the questions on this page. When your notes are complete, call your teacher. Click the apple icon at the top right of your screen in Moodle to find your teacher’s phone number.

In light of all you have learned, stop for a moment and consider:

  1. Have you successfully completed all assignments, self-checks, and forum posts in the first half of the course up to the end of Unit 4?

  2. How do you check assignments for feedback and completion?

  3. Have you seen the Midterm Exam Unit in this course? If not, there is a lot of study stuff in there for you.

  4. What can you do to make your writing more believable in social studies?

  5. What factors should you write about when critically analyzing sources?

  6. In what areas do you feel you have improved the most?

  7. Select one area that is still a challenge for you. How might you address this challenge before writing your Final exam in the course?

  8. What questions do you have for your teacher regarding the course content or Midterm exam so far?

  9. What feedback do you have regarding the course? (Assignments you liked most or least? Suggestions about how the course could be improved? How your teacher can provide you with better support in the second half of the course?)

  10. What questions do you have regarding the Diploma Exam: deadlines, registration, etc.?
