Evaluation
How are you being evaluated in this course?
The follow outlines the weighting of each part of the course.
Formative Assessment These are found at the end of the first lesson of each section. There are 12 of them and each is worth 0.25%. |

Section Assignments These are found at the end of each section in the course. There are 12 of them and each is worth 3%. |

Unit Projects These are found at the end of each unit. There are 4 of them and each is worth 3%. |

Review Assignments These are found just before the midterm and final exams and must be submitted before you can write those exams. |

Midterm Exam This is a supervised exam. It contains 20 questions and you have 2 hours to complete it. |

Final Exam This is a supervised exam. It contains 40 questions and you have 3 hours to complete it. |

Please read through the following ADLC policies to ensure you are familiar with them and what the mean for you when working on this course.
There are two standards students must meet on the final exam.
1) Students must earn 40% or higher on the final exam.
2) The studentβs final exam mark and course average must be within 25% of each other. Eg. If your average is 75% you are expected to earn 50% or higher on your final exam.
*If you don't meet these standards, please contact the ADLC teacher to discuss the situation. If necessary, students may have the opportunity to complete a review process and write an appeal exam.
**If you donβt meet these standards, your final exam mark will become your course mark until you successfully complete the appeal exam.
If, at any point in your course, you do not submit an assignment for 60 days, you will be automatically withdrawn from this course. You will receive a warning email at 30 days, letting you know you are getting close to the 90 days.
If you know you are not going to be able to submit an assignment within 60 days of your last assignment, please contact your teacher to discuss your options.
