Setting Goals — English 30-4

Before starting any course, it is important to set goals for yourself. By setting goals, you are able to see what you have done and what you are capable of. In order to set goals for this course, you will need to think about what you would like to achieve in English 30-4.

It is important to set goals when you begin something new. Goal setting is a process for thinking about what you want to achieve. Setting goals helps you choose what you want to do and think about how you will get there.

Click here for your English 30-4 Goal Setting Form. Please print off the form, complete it, and then hand it in so your teacher can mark it as completed.

After your teacher has looked at your Goal Setting Form , keep it with your Language Arts materials. Look it over throughout the year with your teacher to see how you are doing. (It might be a good idea to look at your goals at the end of each LA theme.) You will return to it when you have finished the course to see if you have reached your goals.
