Lesson 5:

Identity and Diversity

Identity, culture, and diversity are all around us. We see it everywhere we go. We are fortunate to live in a country such as Canada that is made up of what is called a "cultural mosaic." This means that, in Canada, there is a mix of ethnic groups, languages, and culture that exist together within our society. Your identity is made up of many different things, including culture, gender, and your family. In this lesson, you will learn about the many different areas that make you who you are!
