Idioms, Jargon, and Illustrations


Constructing meaning means that you, the learner, take in information and make sense of it for yourself. Each person has various ways that he or she makes sense of new information and information that might be somewhat familiar. Typically, people rely on experiences to make sense of new information or information that they may be familiar with on some level.

This first lesson of Theme 2 explores fun and interesting Canadian idioms, jargon, and illustrations.
