Lesson 8:

Imagery in Literature and Viewing Experiences

This lesson focuses on what you "see" when you hear a story. You will experience a drama, look at images to decide what the story behind the picture might be, and also watch a movie! The images that come to mind when you read, hear, or view a story hold the interest of many audience members.

How do you visualize or "see" what you are reading? Do you need a picture to help you set the scene? Do the events of a story happen in your mind like a play or a movie as the story unfolds? Do you prefer to view a story in a play or movie format rather than read it?

There are so many ways to experience stories! This lesson will help you focus in on what you "see" while you experience various stories.
