Print Images, Purpose, and Content in Marketing
In this activity, you will look at advertising images again but for different reasons. Advertisers choose their audiences carefully, and they also have a clear purpose and message in mind to help them sell their products or services.
When you go shopping, why do you buy the products that you do? What makes you choose one brand over another? Companies spend millions of dollars on advertising campaigns every year to try to convince you to buy their brand. Are you influenced by the advertisements you read, listen to, and view?
Think about the brand name products you use. Can you think of a specific ad a company has created to make people look at and buy their product?
