Theme 3: The Art of Writing

The lessons in Theme 3 focus on dealing with various texts with an emphasis on considering the purpose of the communication, determining the audience for the communication, and creating a context for the communication. In addition, you will focus on enhancing the power of communication through effective use of language. As well, you will follow a path of inquiry to complete a research project.

As you will be completing many assignments throughout this theme, there will not be a reflection after every lesson. Instead, you will complete one reflection at the end of Theme 3. As well, there will not be a Theme Review quiz at the end, but instead, your completed research project and report will be your final assignment for this theme. Happy writing!
