Lesson 14 — Activity 3:
The Body of the Report
You are well on your way to completing your career report! You have
completed the brainstorming step, the researching step, the organization
step, and writing your topic sentence and introductory paragraph! Well done!
Now, it's time to focus on the biggest part of the report — the body, which contains all the supporting details. Remember that this is the filling of your cheeseburger — all the tasty details! The body of the report provides information on each of the points you researched.

The body of the report is made up of several paragraphs. Each paragraph gives details about the topics mentioned in the introduction. For the career you were asked to research, you are expected to write about:
- duties
- working conditions
-
personal characteristics
- educational requirements
- other interesting information on the career such as wages and locations in the province where you could find work
Self-check!
