A Novel Study —
Your Choice
You have chosen to complete Theme 6, which is a novel study with a choice of novels to read instead of Theme 5, which is a novel study on the book The Middle of Everywhere.
In this theme, you will reflect upon what a novel is and think about how you choose novels to read.
Before beginning the novel you have chosen, you will preview the book, learn about the author, and learn about how to respond to what you have read.
As the lessons continue, you will look at the elements that make up novels, and study each of these in depth. Then you will look at each of the elements as they apply to your chosen novel.
To end this theme, you will reflect upon what you have read and complete a final assignment related to your novel.
