  1. Considering Various Points of View
      • Page 20 of the textbook contains writings about the manorial system from two points of view: one that is very negative about the feudal system and the other that supports it.

      • Read the page and compare the points of view.

      • Answer the following question in your Reading/Study Guide.

        • Which writer is closer to your point of view? Why?

  2. Analyzing Images
      • Page 21 of the textbook is about the bias that appears in almost any image.

      • Read page 21 and study the picture.

      • Think about who the painting was produced for and the purpose of the painting (to entertain, to inform, to persuade).

      • Answer the following question in your Reading/Study Guide.

        • What bias do you see in the painting?
