Mathematics 30-2 Practice Quizzes

The online Practice Quizzes are embedded in the course and you will come across them as you hit the Next button as you work through the course. To access a quiz directly, select Content from the Navigation bar at the top of the page, then select Table of Contents and scroll to the Practice quiz you wish you complete.

Mathematics 30-2 Windup Quizzes
An online Windup Quiz corresponds to each unit in the course.

Windup Quizzes are cumulative. Refer to the Windup Coach's Corner self-assessment chart to see which review outcomes are on each quiz.
- Unit Assignments must be completed with a passing mark before the corresponding Windup Quiz can be written.
Mathematics 30-2 Project

The focus of this Project is to research a current events topic that has a mathematical connection, and create a presentation based on your research.

The Project is to be completed in six parts. You will complete one part of the Project after each unit. (The exceptions are Unit 4, when you write Exam One and Unit 8, when you write Exam Two.)

Students who purchase the print version of Mathematics 30-2 receive a course package that includes the Project Booklet.

All students can access the Project online. To access the Project online, go to the online version of Mathematics 30-2 and select Content, then Student Resources.

The project must be completed before Exam Two can be written.
Mathematics 30-2 Exam One

Exam One is written after Unit 4 and tests the curriculum outcomes from Units 1 to 4.

All Assignments and Windup Quizzes from Units 1 to 4 must be completed before Exam One can be written.

Exam One must be written and supervised at an approved examination location.

Exam One has a 3 hour time limit.
Mathematics 30-2 Exam Two

Exam Two is written after Unit 8 and tests the curriculum outcomes from Units 1 to 8.

All Assignments and Windup Quizzes from Units 1 to 8 and the Project must be completed before Exam Two can be written.

Exam Two must be written and supervised at an approved examination location.

Exam Two has a 3 hour time limit.
Mathematics 30-2 Diploma Exam
The Mathematics 30-2 Diploma Exam is mandatory.
