Theme 2: Constructing Meaning in Literature


In this theme, you will learn the importance of the text's meaning to the reader. Responding to literature is the way you react to something that you have read or listened to. When you respond to something that you have read, it helps you to develop a deeper understanding of what you have read, and it also helps you relate what you have read to your own personal experiences.

This theme includes five lessons:
