Why do we have local governments?


This inquiry will take a few days. The two key questions below are quite broad and have many aspects required in your response.  Also, you will investigate your own local government.  You will interview community members to find out what are some significant issues in your local community. You will use your responses in subsequent assignments.

Consider the following questions during your inquiry:

  2. Why not have just the Canadian government?
