a. How do you think we affect plants?
  • We produce carbon dioxide, that plants need to make food.
  • We care for plants that we think are pretty in our gardens, we also care for plants that feed, or clothe us.
  • We cut down forested areas so that we can plant a different crop there, or use the wood.
b. We need plants to survive, but do they need us?
  • Not really.  Other animals can produce the carbon dioxide that they need.
c. Are we doing anything that affects the lives of plants?
  • Cutting down forests, and expanding cities takes away the places where plants used to grow.
