The relationship between plants and humans is interactive.  Plants affect humans and humans affect plants.  Plants provide oxygen and nutrients for humans.  As well, they remove carbon dioxide.  The other side of the relationship is important as well.  What impact can humans have on plants?

 Shelter  Trees to build our homes.  Their roots hold soil in place.  Higher temperatures can cause drought, which means plants can't get enough water.  There are no proven positive effects of increased carbon dioxide on plant growth.
 Food  To hide under in a storm.
   Higher temperatures can cause lower yield in food crops.
