The exam is a, closed-book, supervised, print exam. You have 3 hours to complete the Midterm Exam. The exam includes multiple choice, numerical response and written response questions. A formula sheet will be provided for the exam.

The Midterm Exam is worth 20% of your course grade.

Reviewing For Your Midterm Exam

For each topic covered on the midterm:
  • Review the topic using the course notes, the Pre-Calculus 12 textbook, the multimedia page, or the internet.
  • Once you have reviewed the topic, try a few related practice questions you have not completed before.  Use only a formula sheet and calculator to answer these.
    • If you are able to complete the questions successfully without any external support, you are ready to move on.  Repeat the process for the next topic.
    • If you have trouble with the questions, try reviewing more or contacting your teacher.  Repeat the review process for this topic again until you are able to answer a few practice questions successfully using only your calculator and formula sheet.
