Ongoing Activity-Large Map of Canada



Open your Large Map of Canada Chart that you saved in your Unit 1 Notebook.

Add information to the Interior Plains Region portion of the chart to show important information about the area.  You should include information that will tell about:


  1. The geography of the region such as the names of provinces, five significant land forms, and climate.
  2. The history of the region such as who settled here and why. Provide three historical details.
  3. Three resources in the region.
  4. Three ways people affected the natural environment and two ways the environment affected people in the region. 



Be sure the pictures are for the Interior Plains Region only because you will be adding to this chart after you finish each region.


Save your chart in your Unit 1 Notebook, you will add to it during each of the next two units. You do NOT submit it at this time.
