Discover: Picture Perfect Evidence

Investigators rely strongly on observations to give them information about a scene.  They are experienced at looking at all the details and considering what the clues might tell them.  From these clues, they are able to make inferences that might help them solve the mystery.

In this activity, you will see that much information can be obtained from making observations from a single picture.  You will have to consider carefully all the details in the picture.  Things that may not seem important at first glance may actually be the key to answering the question.  Be sure you observe carefully!
