Introduction to the Online Course
Welcome students!
Welcome to the Spanish 10 course. We have some interesting things planned, and hope you have made enough room in your backpack to take some of these things away with you.
There are eight units within this course. Within these eight unit s, you will be presented with new vocabulary, new grammar concepts, and new insight into the Spanish culture.
Course Structure
In order to be successful in this course, it is important to know how the course is set up.
Units
Each unit contains a series of lessons. Units are accessed from the course home page and the table of contents (under the content tab). Select the appropriate unit to reveal the lessons contained within that unit. Once the desired unit has been selected, click "next" as you work through each page.
Lessons
Each lesson is made up of learning objectives and instructional content. The content is used to provide you with the necessary information to accomplish the lesson objective. Access the desired lesson by clicking the appropriate lesson from the table of contents. Alternatively, work through the lessons by clicking "next".
Self Checks and Assignments
Each lesson will provide many opportunities to practice and check your understanding of what you have learned. Be sure to review and complete each practice activity, as they will assist you in mastering the content and preparing for the submitted assignments. Each lesson will also provide information regarding what you are to submit for the lesson assignment and the criteria on which you will be graded.
Each unit has a Unit Checklist. The checklist can be found on the navigation bar under Resources. This is a way to keep a record of your progress.
There is also a pretest for each unit , to see what you already know. All quizzes, self-assessments, and exams are accessed from the table of contents or the navigation bar.
