Course Requirements


These are the major components of the course that you must successfully complete to earn credits.

  • Complete all of the writing,  speaking and listening assignments. It is important to do them in the order in which they are presented. All of your work should represent your best, individual effortIncomplete assignments will be returned unmarked.
  • The use of online translation sites such as Google translate on assignments falls under our Plagiarism Policy (explained in 2 pages).
  • Complete all quizzes in the order in which they are presented. Quizzes are for practice -  once you submit your answers, the quiz will automatically be graded, allowing you to review your mark, and your errors, and attempt it again. 
  • Unit exams are recorded marks, require a password; you only have one attempt at them.
  • Participate in all of the Conversation Assessments at the end of Units 2, 4, 6, and 8

Once you have completed all of the required activities you must take and pass a mid-term and a final exam.
Please note that both of these exams must be supervised by a teacher. 

ADLC final exam policy:

 If your final exam mark is below 40% or more than 25% lower than your course average before the final exam,
your teacher has the discretion to use your final exam mark as your final course mark.
