5.2 Evaluaci贸n

You have completed lesson 5.2 Around the Mall and should now be able to use vocabulary related to the mall, say and write Spanish numbers to talk about prices, request the cost of something using 驴Cu谩nto cuestaNo? and know currencies of Spanish-speaking countries.

5.2 - Speaking Assignment

You will answer questions about shopping and where to buy things in Part 1, and about the cost of various items in Part 2.

Record your all of your answers in one recording (no need to repeat the question).

Submit your sound file on the assignment page that follows.  (Remember - save it with your name and 5.2 in the title)

Start your recording by saying: "Me llamo (your full name)".

Part 1 (Lesson 5.1):
Listen to the 9 questions below and write your answers in complete sentences, then record them. Pay attention to the verb tense of the question - some of these are in Present tense, some are in the Future (Unit 4 - ir+a+infintive). A good general rule to follow:  always answer in the same tense in which you were asked.

In questions 1-3, you are asked about shopping, in questions 4-6 you are asked about where to buy things (use the vocab from Lesson 5.1) in questions 7, 8, 9, use 3 different emphatic expressions you learned in Lesson 5.1 in your answers. Use complete sentences to answer all 9 questions. 




Part 2 (Lesson 5.2):
Read or listen to each question and look at the image and price. Then answer each question by writing a complete Spanish sentence. Look at the first question and image and listen to the sample response for an example (the word d贸lares isn't easy - listen closely - remember the accent on the 贸 means you stress that syllable. If you want to imagine you are in different country and using a different currency - no hay problema - but include the currency in your answers.)

Once you have written down all of your responses for Parts 1 and 2, record and save them to record in one single recording.
