Direct Objects and Direct Object Pronouns
Let's review some more sentences with direct object pronouns.
What would be the correct direct object pronoun in Spanish? For example: María and Julio bring the book. The direct object is the book, el libro, so the direct object pronoun is "lo". The correct answer would be "lo".
Rewrite each sentence by replacing the direct object with a direct object pronoun. Remember to ask yourself the following questions:
- Is the direct object masculine or feminine?
- Is the direct object singular or plural?
- What direct object pronoun do you use to replace it?
- How do you rewrite the sentence to include the direct object pronoun?
