Hola, soy Juan y estoy en la Argentina. Hoy en Buenos Aires está lloviendo y hace mucho viento. También está relampagueando (thundering). El meteorólogo dice que esta noche viene una tormenta fuerte con inundaciones.
Mi amigo Felipe está en la isla de Cuba. Él dice que el huracán está muy cerca de Cuba. Cuando hay clima severo, Felipe y su familia tienen que estar preparados (they have to be prepared). Ellos van al albergue para protegerse (to protect themselves) del mal tiempo. También van al supermercado a comprar comidas enlatadas y un botiquÃn de primeros auxilios (first aid kit).
Me gusta estar preparada cuando hace mal tiempo. El albergue (shelter) puede protegerte (protect you) cuando hay clima severo. Es importante saber dónde están los albergues de tu ciudad. Lee el periódico (newspaper) para saber qué tiempo hace (what is the weather like) y estar preparado.
