Francesca, another one of our blogger friends, is a girl from Argentina visiting a family in Florida.
Today is Francesca's first day off from school and her friend, Veronica, is really excited.
Veronica has planned a fun-filled day of leisure activities for her.
Read the information about Francesca and Veronica's day and create a graphic organizer about their activities for the day.

Follow these steps:

  1. Read (and LISTEN TO) the story and pay attention to the activities and the times they are planned.

  2. As you read, write all of the o—ue stem-changing verbs in the Verb column of the chart.

  3. Read through the passage again and write down the phrase or sentence where the word appears. Three rows are done as examples.

  4. After you review your chart and understand the reader, complete the itinerary of the activities and the times they are planned.
