Tutorial—Answering Questions

Answering questions in complete sentences is really easy. You just need to use the words from the question as part of your answer plus your answer.

• Always include the subject and the verb.
• Change the verbs in the question to the yo form in your response.

Example

Question: ¿Cuál es tu libro favorito?

Answer: Mi libro favorito es Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Use much of the vocabulary from the question (libro favorito es) as a part of your answer.

Then answer the question and say what your favorite book is. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Answer in a complete sentence.

Mi libro favorito es Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
