Lesson 1: Income - Timesheets Samples
Constructing Knowledge
Companies that pay employees an hourly wage provide timesheets or timecards to their employees to fill out. Timesheets, at the end of a pay period, are totalled for the number of regular and overtime hours worked, and then the wage is calculated. Although many companies use timesheets it is rare for timesheets to look exactly the same from company to company.
Most timesheets will have lines where an employee will add up the total regular and total overtime hours for a pay period. The timesheets may also have columns where an employee writes their time "in" and "out" (the beginning and end of a work day).
