Test Your Understanding Quiz


An online quiz, called Test Your Understanding, is the final component of each Unit in the course.

  • Test Your Understanding quizzes are worth 15% of your final course mark.
  • Test Your Understanding quizzes are password protected. Contact your teacher or marker to get passwords as needed.
  • The Practice, Explore Your Understanding Assignment, and Final Review Assignment assessments for the Unit must be completed, marked, and feedback received before the corresponding Test Your Understanding Quiz password will be made available.
  • Test Your Understanding quizzes can be written without supervision. They can also be written with the help of any relevant course materials.
  • Test Your Understanding quizzes have a 2-hour time limit.

Mathematics 20-1 Midterm Exam

  • Midterm Exam is worth 20% of your final mark.
  • Midterm Exam is written after Units 1, 2, 3, and 4 are complete, all relevant assignments have been submitted, and feedback for all work in the first four Units has been provided.
  • Midterm Exam tests the curriculum outcomes addressed in Units 1, 2, 3, and 4.
  • Midterm Exam must be written and supervised at an ADLC approved examination location.
  • Midterm Exam has a 3-hour time limit.

Mathematics 20-1 Final Exam

  • Final Exam is worth 35% of your final course mark.
  • Final Exam is written after all eight Units are complete, all relevant assignments have been submitted, and feedback for all work in all Units has been provided.
  • Final Exam tests the curriculum outcomes addressed in Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
  • Final Exam must be written and supervised at an ADLC approved examination location.
  • Final Exam has a 3-hour time limit.
