In Lesson 4.2, you have broadened your understanding of trigonometry from the Pythagorean Theorem and primary trigonometric ratios of angles between \(0^\circ\) and \(90^\circ\) to being able to determine the primary trigonometric ratios for any angle in standard position and the angle(s) in standard position for any primary trigonometric ratio.  The concepts you have studied in this lesson serve as an introduction to trigonometric functions, studied in Math 30-1.

In Lesson 4.3, you are going to investigate trigonometry with triangles that do not contain a \(90^\circ\) angle.
