This section of the unit has two different readings called:


Have Your Say! - Internet Games: Fun but Beware! (pages 12 to 13)
  • An opinion article about the dangers found in advertisements on the Internet.

Have Your Say! - Team Sports: Go for It! (pages 14 to 15)
  • An opinion article about the advantages of playing team sports.

You should read at least one of these selections. If you are not sure which one to read, preview each article in Literacy in Action 5 and ask yourself the following questions:

  • Which article appeals to me the most?
  • Which topic would I like to learn more about?

Once you answer these questions, you should be able to choose which article to read.
