Story Map

Now, you will think about the elements of the story you just read:

  • The Strangest Friend (pages 70 to 71 in Literacy in Action 5)
  • The Abandoned House (pages 72 to 73 in Literacy in Action 5)
  • The Case of the Ruby Earrings (pages 74 to 75 in Literacy in Action 5)

A story map is a graphic organizer. It helps you identify the elements of a story. By identifying story characters, plot, setting, problem and solution, you read carefully to learn the details.
