L3 Lines of Symmetry
Completion requirements
Unit A: Geometry
Chapter 2: Transformations
Line of Symmetry: a line that produces a mirror image if it is passed through a shape or object (or between two identical shapes or objects)

A line of symmetry is a line that differentiates two identical shapes or objects (refer to the red line in the picture to the left). A line of symmetry can pass through an object and its image as depicted in the photo.
A line of symmetry can also pass through an object, as seen in the ladybug.

Objects may have more than one line of symmetry. Lines of symmetry can be drawn in any direction. This design has four lines of symmetry.
