C. Online Quizzes and Exams

An online quiz, called Big Game! is the final component of each unit in the course.

  • Big Game! quizzes are worth 15% of your final course mark.
  • Big Game! quizzes are password protected. Contact your teacher to get passwords as needed.
  • The Coach's Corner, Game On!, Time Out, and Final Review Assignment assessments for the unit must be completed, marked, and feedback received before the corresponding Big Game! password will be made available.
  • Big Game! quizzes can be written without supervision and with the help of any relevant course materials.
  • Big Game! quizzes have a 2-hour time limit.

Time to write the Midterm Exam or Final Exam

Mathematics 20-2 Midterm Exam

  • Midterm Exam is worth 20% of your final course mark.
  • Midterm Exam is written after the Introduction Booklet and Units 1, 2, and 3 are complete, all relevant Workbook components have been submitted, and feedback for all work in the first three units has been provided.
  • Midterm Exam tests the curriculum outcomes addressed in Units 1, 2, and 3.
  • Midterm Exam must be written and supervised at an ADLC-approved examination location.
  • Midterm Exam has a 3-hour time limit.

Mathematics 20-2 Final Exam

  • Final Exam is worth 30% of your final course mark.
  • Final Exam is written after all seven units have been completed, all relevant Workbooks have been submitted, and feedback for all work has been provided.
  • Final Exam tests the curriculum outcomes addressed in Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
  • Final Exam must be written and supervised at an ADLC-approved examination location.
  • Final Exam has a 3-hour time limit.
