The ratios 8:2 and 4:1 are proportional because they are equivalent.

Express travelling 400 km in 4 hours as a unit rate.

100 kilometres per hour or 100 km/hr

The scale of a map uses 1 inch to represent 50 km. How far apart are two cities if they are 5 inches away on the map?
