D. Nets

Visually, a net shows all of the surfaces of a three-dimensional object. A net can be folded along its lines (seams) to form a three-dimensional object. Some three-dimensional objects have several possible nets.

Net
A prism whose bases (top anda two-dimensional representation of a three-dimensional object bottom) are directly one above the other and whose faces are rectangular and meet the bases at right angles

Example 1

Which of the following nets would not form a cube?

Folding along dotted edges will form a cube.
