The three primary trigonometric ratios can be used to determine unknown lengths and angles in right triangles. Each is useful for a particular combination of an angle and two sides. In the next lesson, you will learn to solve a right triangle (to determine all the length and angle values in a right triangle), and you will learn to solve more complex problems using the three primary trigonometric ratios.
