Thermometers are great tools for measuring temperature. As with many tools, you must select an appropriate thermometer for a particular job. For example, the thermometer you would use to measure the temperature outside is probably a different thermometer
from the one you would use for cooking because the required temperature ranges differ. Similarly, not all relations involve the same values. The domain and range of a relation define the values utilized by a specific relation.
