A. Number Sets

Number sets can be described using words, algebraic notation, and number lines.

On a number line, a closed circle indicates an included value and an open circle indicates an excluded value. A thicker or darker line is drawn over the appropriate section(s) of the number line to show which values belong to the number set being described. An arrow at either end of the line indicates the included values extend indefinitely in that direction.
