Fundraising is a common practice among non-profit organizations and is often used to achieve a specific financial goal. Suppose students are selling t-shirts and sweatshirts to help offset the cost of a team trip. The number of t-shirts and sweatshirts
that need to be sold to meet the goal can be represented by a linear equation, but the slope-intercept form does not match this scenario very well.
