Diploma Exam Preparation - Visual Reflection

  Explore

On your diploma exam, your Visual Reflection response will be assessed using the rubric shown on this page.  Remember, your response is assessed based on two categories: Ideas and Impressions and Presentation.  Read the content in the blue box at the top of the rubric.

For the first category, Ideas and Impressions, your markers will focus on how well you have developed your ideas and supported them with details.  They will also be looking at how clearly you have organized your response (called a unifying effect).

For the second category, Presentation, your markers will focus on your voice in your writing and how effectively you have expressed yourself. Your voice conveys your personality through your writing and your belief in your own ideas.  Your word choice and sentence structures contribute to your voice.

Review the criteria markers use to assess your work.  Note Delaney’s comments to use as a guide.
