Focus on Effect:  Types of Shots

  2. Click on the term β€œTypes of Shots” located on the left side of the screen in the menu of the Elements of Film video.

  3. Click on the YouTube icon on the bottom of each definition’s slide to see each technique in action.  What is the effect of each technique?



  4. Record your observations on your Elements of Film Handout in the space provided.  Which types of shots did you notice?  What was the effect of each type of shot?
