Self-Check Quiz: Independent Film Study Quiz
Now that you have watched your chosen film, you should review the
plot and character development, as well as the cinematic techniques in
the film. The following self-assessment quiz is designed to test your
understanding of these film elements.
Choose the appropriate film quiz from the list on this page.
You will not receive marks for this self-assessment, but you must earn a minimum of 65% on this self-assessment quiz to be able to move forward in the course. It is therefore important that you take your time and read the questions carefully to ensure you answer them correctly and show you are learning the content.
If you do not earn 65% on your first attempt, try the quiz again. You are allowed three attempts.
NOTE: Regardless of whether or not you answered a question correctly, be sure to read the feedback that accompanies each question. The feedback includes extra instructional content on the film (sort of like bonus features on your DVD) that you can use later in the unit or on your diploma exam.
This quiz is open-book. You are EXPECTED to refer to the film DVD and your Film Observation Chart to answer the questions. You MAY also refer to any of the course resources to help you answer the questions.
