Take a look at the image on page 63 of Literacy in Action. It's very eye catching isn't it? We are strongly affected by images every day in many different contexts and different ways.
In this unit, you will be viewing a large variety of images in different media, and learning to think critically about what you see. You will also work on presenting your own point of view using words and images.
One of your first tasks is to select a novel because you should have read it before you reach Unit 5.
