Construct a Storyboard
You are going to construct a storyboard and write a short script in this part of the lesson. This is the BIG assignment for this unit, so try to do your best work.
On page 95 in Literacy in Action 6A, the students have constructed a storyboard to plan a movie about their school: Renton Memorial Public School β Then and Now!

Read pages 94 and 95 of Literacy in Action 6A.
- Be sure to read the Presentation Pointer on page 95 (in the light green box) β it's about things you don't want to include.
- Look closely at the sample of a storyboard on the page.

Begin Your Storyboard
You may complete the storyboard using your Word Processor, or Storyboardthat, or ACMI Generator. Or, you could draw the storyboard by hand and take a picture of it.
Save
How to save a file:
- Have the file open and select Save As from the File menu.
- Name your Storyboard Template in this format: jsmith_docstoryboard and name your Storyboard Planner in this format: jsmith_planner. Save the files to your Documents folder.
Summative Assessment
Throughout the unit, you learned and practiced new concepts and presentation formats. Now itβs time to demonstrate or βsum upβ your understanding of that information by submitting this assignment for a mark.
- Submit your Storyboard worksheet to your teacher for marking.
- Click Add Submission to upload your document.
