Reflect on this question: What kinds of people seem to be worthy of or deserve having a biography written about them?
The words you used to describe personality are called adjectives.
These attractive descriptive words ride along with nouns, describing them or adding to their meaning. They have an incredible eye for detail.
Definition
Adjectives (adj. something that is added) describe or add meaning to nouns or pronouns.Adjectives describe the five senses:
Smell - stinky cheese
Sight - purple car
Taste - mushy peas
Touch - boiling stove
Sound - whispering wind
Adjectives can also describe other things such as size, shape, age, emotions, or situations.
Examples:
- large square computer
- young child
- grumpy dwarf
- important information
Most of the time, adjectives are placed before the nouns they describe. Sometimes, they can go after the noun and after a linking verb (is, are, were, seems etc.)
- I enjoyed the rainy day.
- The day was rainy.

Adjectives take three different forms when making comparisons.
The positive form is the adjective itself.
Example: Clean, Strong, Close
The comparative form shows the difference between two items.
Example: Cleaner, Stronger, Closer
The superlative form shows the difference between three items.
Example: Cleanest, Strongest, Closest
Adjectives with two or more syllables use the word more or most to make comparisons
The positive form is the adjective itself. Example: peaceful, enjoyable
The comparative form shows the difference between two items.
Example: more peaceful, more enjoyable
The superlative form shows the difference between three items.
Example: most peaceful, most enjoyable
Irregular adjectives: Some adjectives do not follow the rules above such as good, better, and best or bad, worse, and worst.
