Vocabulary Word Wall
Space Junk
Add the following new words that you encountered in the reading selection:
- satellite
- rocket
- space shuttle
Add any other scientific words that you encountered while reading the selection Space Junk on pages 130 and 131 of Literacy in Action.
For these words, search for an image/picture, write a definition, and use the word in a sentence.

Open Your File
Go to your Documents folder and open your Unit 3 Vocabulary Word Wall that you have saved there.
Websites
You can use the Online Dictionary to check words or spelling.
The NASA Picture Dictionary may be helpful when you are looking for an image to support a word.
Skill Builder
To find images for your Vocabulary Word Wall, click Skill Builder, then view Searches - How To Search the Internet for Images.
Save
How to save the file:
- Have the file open and select Save from the File menu.
- Save your work, when done, again to your Documents folder.
