Before beginning the activities for this lesson, you will work on your Vocabulary Word Wall.

Vocabulary Word Wall
Ask an Astronaut
Look back through the Ask an Astronaut selection on pages 152 to 156 of Literacy in Action and choose four new words related to living in space.
Add these four new words to your Vocabulary Word Wall.
For these words, search for an image/picture, write a definition, and use the word in a sentence.

Click each coloured tab to view instructions to Open Your File and to view information about the Websites and Skill Builder for this activity.
Open Your File
Go to your Documents folder and open your Unit 3 Vocabulary Word Wall that you have saved there.
Websites
You can use the Online Dictionary to check words or spelling.
The NASA Picture Dictionary may be helpful when you are looking for an image to support a word.
Skill Builder
To find images for your Vocabulary Word Wall, click Skill Builder, then view Searches - How To Search the Internet for Images.
Save
How to save the file:
- Have the file open and select Save from the File menu.
- Save your work, when done, again to your Documents folder.
The Vocabulary Word Wall is not for marks.
